Updated: Jun 18, 2018

National Designated Authorities, Direct Access Entities and partner institutions from Micronesia, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, and Sri Lanka attended a Training Programme on Developing Climate Change Adaptation Projects for the Green Climate Fund (GCF) organized by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 11-15 June 2018.

The week-long training programme followed a learning-by-doing approach and was aimed at developing capacities to prepare concept notes specifically for the Simplified Approval Process (SAP) pilot scheme of the GCF.

Ms. Zhengzheng Qu from the GCF Secretariat attended the first two days of the training, shared insights regarding the SAP, and provided feedback to the project ideas of the participants.
